Gatorland Orlando Attractions

Founded in 1949, and still owned by the founding family, Gatorland Zoo is home to thousands of alligators and crocodiles, with many fun, yet informative attractions for all ages.  Some of the incredible features of the Gatorland Orlando Attractions include walkways, observation tower, aviary, reptile shows, educational programmes and the swamp walk.

Gatorland Orlando Attractions has several different adventure tours for you to experience if you want a break from the adrenaline-pumping rides at the other Florida theme parks:

Trainer for a day:
Team up with a real Gatorland expert for a fun filled, hands on approach to learn what it takes to be able to work with such dangerous and magnificent creatures. With an introductory course which covers everything from safety procedures to how to handle the animals, then it’s on to the training with the experts and the animals themselves!

Rookie Wrestling:
This is possibly the only chance you will ever get to wrestle one of twelve alligators swimming around as you enter the sand arena and come face to face with one of the most feared and respected creatures known to man. Eight to nine foot long, powerful muscles and razor sharp teeth are what gators are known for, not to be tried at home!

Adventure Hour:
This area is only seen by those who are brave enough to experience an area of Gatorland Zoo which is closed to the public, where you travel into the swamp full of hundreds of crocs and gators to feed them and sneak a photo or two!

But Gatorland Orlando extends beyond the reptilian world, with many other beautifully coloured inhabitants of the Gatorland Zoo Wildlife reserve, including flamingos, macaws, hawks and many other birds. Remember, everything you see while traversing the boardwalk is wild, none of the inhabitants have been put in there!
